Bed & Breakfast and Holiday Cottage Accommodation

Road Green House,

North Nibley,

Gloucestershire,

England.

GL11 6BA

Road Green House and The Old Cart House are situated in the beautiful South Cotswolds, and are surrounded by lovely countryside. Our Bed and Breakfast and Holiday Cottage accommodation are located one mile from the historic village of North Nibley, which is famous for the last private battle in England and its association with William Tynedale, whose monument stands on the hills above the village.

There is a country pub serving good food and a well stocked local shop. In the summer beside the village school, cricket is played on the green.  The Cotswold Way runs through the village and from there you can experience the full beauty of this part of the Cotswolds.

Slimbridge Wildfowl Trust, Berkeley Castle, Tetbury with its wonderful old buildings and antique shops, and Westonbirt Arboretum are all close by. There are a wealth of different places to visit and activities to pursue, including National Trust properties, beautiful Cotswold Villages, and special  gardens, giving our guests a wonderful choice of things to see and do.

The River Severn flows out to the sea at Bristol and there are many opportunities to explore its banks and the waterways and canals in the area. We are also conveniently situated for the M4 & M5 Motorways with Bristol, Bath, Cirencester, Cheltenham and Gloucester all within easy reach.

Whether you decide to go out to one of the local restaurants or pubs or eat at Road Green in peace and comfort, we very much hope you will choose to come and stay with us soon.
